How do you turn great association support into strong, lasting partnerships?
For Michelle, it starts with understanding what makes each organisation tick.
As one of CJAM’s Association Account Managers, Michelle works closely with our clients to understand their priorities, tackle challenges and make sure they have the support they need to keep moving forward. Whether she’s meeting with clients, responding to queries, coordinating with colleagues or finding a way through an unexpected challenge, her role is built around relationships, collaboration and problem-solving.
Michelle joined association management following a 15-year career in the gaming industry, where she progressed through website management and administration to become an Operations Manager. Working in a constantly evolving, fast-paced environment gave her plenty of experience in managing competing priorities, overseeing complex projects and finding practical solutions, skills that have transferred naturally into supporting CJAM’s diverse client portfolio.
It’s that diversity that Michelle particularly enjoys. Every organisation has its own ambitions, challenges and way of working, giving her the opportunity to continually learn while helping clients achieve what matters to them.
Away from her desk, Michelle’s organisational skills come in handy for one of her biggest passions: travel. She loves putting together itineraries, researching new destinations and seeking out places that might otherwise be missed. When she’s not planning her next adventure, you’ll often find her spending time with family, friends and her three Chow Chows. And the skill she’d most like to acquire? Fluency in multiple languages, so she could connect with even more people on her travels.
At CJAM, we know successful association management is about more than completing a list of tasks. It’s about getting to know each organisation, anticipating what it needs and bringing together the right people and expertise to help it thrive. Michelle brings exactly that mindset to the associations she supports.
