Who are National Tyres and Autocare?
With 240 branches and 60 mobile tyre fitting vehicles, National is the largest independent fast fit specialist in the UK, servicing both retail customers as well as many of the UK’s largest fleets. Our experienced and highly trained technicians have the knowledge and expertise that enables them to offer a wide range of vehicle repair services from tyres replacement to autocare components such as exhausts, brakes, batteries and oil changes.
Many of our branches are DVSA approved MOT testing stations and all branches offer car servicing as well as wheel alignments, wheel balancing and steering & suspension.
National really is a one-stop shop for vehicle service, maintenance and repair. With years of experience in the automotive industry, we are able to address all of our customers motoring requirements. More recently adding auxiliary products to our portfolio of services such as windscreen wipers, oil system additives, fuel treatments and leisure batteries. Appointments in branch and via our mobile tyre fitting service are available online, to provide more flexibility and convenience for our customers.

National’s commitment to employee development
Employee training and development is an important part of the company ethos; using an in-house training platform, developed and refined over a number of years, all staff members are trained in the latest technologies. Residential training is provided for all Managers and all tyre fitters are invited to attend a tyre tech programme. Mobile tyre fitting managers are trained in tyre fitment and also roadside breakdown procedures.
National is very proud of its annual apprenticeship scheme for young people with a passion for cars and several past apprentices have won the prestigious ‘Best Fast Fit apprentice of the year’ award from the Institute of the Motor Industry (IMI). Additionally, National offers a number of office based apprentices covering business administration, finance and digital marketing.
