Sustainability
Sustainability is at the heart of everything Continental does which is why they have further developed the Taraxagum dandelion rubber. Since the opening of the Taraxagum Lab in 2018, Continental have released the popular Urban Taraxagum bicycle tyre, the first mass production product with Taraxagum. Although still in its development stage, Taraxagum in the future will be used in car and truck tyres.
Continental have recently ventured into the world of motorsports, providing tyres for the new electric off-road racing series Extreme E. As a founding partner and official tyre partner, Continental’s team of experts have worked together to develop a tyre suitable for a variety of extreme terrains.
