TyreSafe Partners with Anyline to Promote Tyre Safety During Tyre Safety Month
TyreSafe is proud to announce its partnership with Anyline, a global leader in AI-powered mobile data capture, to boost awareness of tyre safety across the UK. Launching as part of Tyre Safety Month this October, this collaboration aims to educate drivers on the importance of tyre maintenance through the “Caught in the A.C.T.” campaign, which encourages drivers to check their tyres’ Air Pressure, Condition, and Tread.
Road safety remains a key focus, with the latest government statistics revealing that 152 people in the UK are killed or seriously injured annually due to tyre defects. Additionally, research indicates that up to 6 million tyres on UK roads could have illegal tread depths.
“As road safety statistics show, tyre defects can have devastating consequences,” said Stuart Lovatt, chair of TyreSafe. “This partnership with Anyline will help raise awareness and provide drivers with the knowledge they need to make our roads safer.”
Report on Driver Knowledge and Tyre Safety
As part of the partnership, Anyline and TyreSafe are conducting a survey to assess UK drivers’ understanding of tyre safety. Early findings show that younger drivers (aged 18-34) tend to have less awareness of tyre-related risks, with 26% of Gen Z drivers relying on friends or family to check their tyres, compared to only 8% of older drivers.
