TyreSafe supports PACTS manifesto TyreSafe’s support for the PACTS Manifesto for Road Safety is a crucial step in addressing the alarming stagnation in reducing road traffic deaths and serious injuries in the UK, which have flatlined since 2010. With over 30,000 lives lost or severely impacted every year—equivalent to the population of a medium-sized UK town—this is a crisis that demands urgent attention. The manifesto outlines clear, strategic priorities, including the development of a National Road Safety Strategy, the establishment of a Road Safety Investigation Branch, the introduction of Graduated Driver Licensing, and the adoption of Advanced Vehicle Safety Regulations. For TyreSafe, supporting this manifesto aligns directly with its mission to promote tyre safety as an essential part of overall road safety. The manifesto represents a unified call to action, and TyreSafe’s commitment to this cause is a powerful message that road safety requires comprehensive, cross-sector collaboration to save lives and prevent injuries. |
