Anti-competitiveness statement

TyreSafe Trustees, members and supporters meet to discuss issues as per the charity’s objectives. TyreSafe is a non-commercial and non-lobbying charity (Registered Charity Number 1168354).

Discussions do not, under any circumstances:

  1. include any consensus discussion of individual corporate strategy, market behaviour or pricing policy; or
  2. extend to price data or other sensitive information such as may enable any participants to influence the competitive behaviour of his or her organisation’s members; or
  3. reveal the commercial circumstances or contractual relationships between any participants as individuals and their employer’s customers or suppliers.

Meetings are conducted in accordance with an agenda that is previously circulated, providing an opportunity to raise any matters of concern before commencement.

The Chair of the meeting acts as compliance referee. At the commencement of each meeting, participants have another opportunity and duty to highlight any matter on the agenda that, in their opinion, does not conform with the above principles. Under such circumstances and where appropriate the agenda point is removed and any discussion prevented. Material breach of the compliance principles would be minuted and if, required, the meeting would be suspended.
