Public and Patient Engagement

Mission: To engage the public, people affected and their families with gene and cell therapy through events and the PPE lecture series, designed to provide lay introductions to the rapidly developing world of gene and cell therapy.

Communication & Promotion

Panels

BSGCT Partner Forum

Purpose

The BSGCT Partner Forum is an advisory body convened by the British Society for Gene and Cell Therapy (BSGCT) and has the following aims:

To provide a stage to allow relevant partner engagement with the BSGCT

  • To provide strategic advice to the BSGCT
  • To disseminate information on relevant BSGCT activities and initiatives
  • To identify and help overcome challenges to the development and adoption of ATMPs

​Terms of Reference

The Partner Forum has the remit to provide advice on and support:

  1. engagement between partners and BSGCT
  2. strategic interactions that will support partners’ and BSGCT’s activities
  3. co-ordinated activities between the BSGCT and partners
  4. discussion on developments in the sector that may require BSGCT input or action
  5. initiatives to enhance the delivery and scope of impact of the BSGCT
  6. the dissemination of information on BSGCT’s activities
