An article authored by Maria Gardner, Founder of Psychology Works. Today is National Sickie. Less of an endorsement of absenteeism for work without reason, more a timely reminder that, everyone, at times needs a day off to rest, recalibrate and reset. It's not about glamorising…
We are absolutely thrilled to hear that Manchester Met’s BA Business Psychology Degree, which is accredited by the ABP, has been shortlisted for Course of the Year in the Student union Awards 2021. This is a huge achievement, given how relatively new the course is and how challenging this year has been for all students. Dr Marilena Antoniadou, who leads the programme told us:
“We are delighted that our newly launched BA Business Psychology degree at Manchester Met has been shortlisted as ‘Course of the Year 2021’ in the Student Union Teaching Awards. The Union’s Teaching Awards celebrate excellence in teaching at Manchester Metropolitan University. This nomination is crucially important to us as it has come from students themselves, which shows how much they have enjoyed their course, the teaching, and overall experience in a year that has been different from others. The ABP, our accrediting body, has given us numerous opportunities for involvement, such as access to its Conference, monthly events, guest speakers and we are grateful for its support. The Programme team is committed to sustaining the high levels of teaching standards and quality and we aim to continue to work together with our students and the ABP to ensure teaching excellence.”
The ABP is so proud to be part of this initiative for our universities and our students. Congratulations to Manchester Met staff and students and to Dr Antoniadou for her leadership.
