Designing and Delivering Successful Webinars – Module 2, Single Webinar

14 May 2020 at 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Five short webinars, in the span of two months, to get your webinar business up and running!

Webinars are happening online every day. More and more organisations are trying to cut costs and environmental impact by blending this platform in their learning programmes. Schools and universities are transitioning their traditional programmes into remote learning and often a webinar can be an excellent opportunity to promote your research and/or your business. Yet trainers and practitioners are not always well equipped to face the challenges and the opportunities that this medium can offer!

This series will offer you an opportunity to explore the most recent instructional design theories applied to webinars, as well as acquire fundamental skills to design, deliver and promote successful webinars.

You will first learn the basics, then you will have approximately one month to develop your own webinar before you attend the last two sessions, that will help you promote and deliver content!

The course will be delivered by Sukhvinder Pabial (challengingfrontiers.com) and Gabriele Galassi (www.thebpn.co.uk)

Sukh is an experienced strategic and senior organisational and learning and development leader who actively works to progress the thinking and practice of L&D. Sukh’s interests lie in L&D strategy and consultation, OD strategy, innovation in business, positive psychology and emotional intelligence. Sukh is an occupational psychologist by education, and has extensively studied the fields of positive psychology and emotional intelligence.

Gab is an independent business coach (MAC) and trainer, working in the UK and internationally on the design and delivery of learning across the areas of sales, team dynamics, management and leadership and personal development. He holds and MSc in Education and an MSc in Occupational Psychology. Besides his consultancy business, he is a lecturer at Kingston University and Birkbeck University in Training and Development.

What the course is about

By attending this online series, you will be able to:

  • Discuss modern theories about learning in digital environments
  • Apply practical principles of design to the digital environment
  • Develop strong skills to deliver engaging webinars
  • Develop confidence in marketing and pricing of webinars

In addition to attending the course, throughout the series you will be invited to submit an idea for a webinar covering a topic that is of interest to you and the ABP community.

If your idea is selected, you will receive 2 hours of free coaching with the training team behind this webinar series. This will be an opportunity to further refine your content and develop it for delivery.

Your webinar will also be promoted on the ABP website and it will be part of the ABP training offer, ready to be offered to our community by the end of 2020.
