Week 1

Week 2

Speaker sessions

Our speakers will be reflecting on what we have learnt in the past 20 years and what we think the next 20 years will have in store for us, in their area of expertise.

You will have the opportunity to ask questions in a Q&A session for the remaining time. Each speaker session will be 1hour long including the Q&A session.

Check more details about our speakers here.

Freeform sessions

We are providing a space for you to discuss the previous session, learn more about the awards and connect with other delegates. If possible, we will try to nudge our speakers to join in for an extended Q&A session.

Award Ceremony

Everyone is welcome to attend our virtual awards ceremony.  It’s a great opportunity to find out which award has won which you might have been discussing through the conference.

Recordings

We understand people have lots of commitments, we are playing the speaker session in the evening so you don’t miss out. One of the team will be there to facilitate a discussion on the 2 recordings.

Workshops

Apter Emotivation: A Dynamic, Integrative Framework for Coaching & Development

The Apter Emotivation framework, based on Reversal Theory, uses the dynamic relationship between motivations and emotions to provide a versatile, diagnostic framework and coaching method that can be used to solve a wide range of human ‘problems’. Its emphasis on changeable mental states makes it highly practical, while its holistic, systemic perspective enables multiple outcomes, such as individual and team performance, improved relationships, wellbeing, leadership and emotional intelligence. In this workshop you will have the opportunity explore the framework and its applications, and to experience the ‘game of emotivations’ that is used in coaching and facilitation.

Cross-cultural Testing for Speakers of Other Languages: Improving Communication and Assessment Outcomes by Writing and Planning with Culture and Translation in Mind

This workshop aims to work through and discuss some practical difficulties when writing assessments and reports that may be administered on or interpreted by speakers of languages other than English, or from a primarily non-anglophone culture. With examples from a range of different assessment types and content, we look at ways to help you improve the validity of assessments taken by people with first languages other than English (be it an assessment in the original language or translated), as well as their overall functioning. We will be opening up the floor to participants to share their own best-practice and lessons learnt when operating across different cultures, so we’ll look forward to hearing and discussing any specific questions, queries or situations that you have experienced.
