Session Synopsis

The goal of business psychology is to understand and predict behaviour in the workplace. To date technology has mainly been seen by psychologists as a tool for efficiency in the process of collecting and analysing data, while the role of psychologists has been to understand and predict. Taking the perspective of a technologist, Robert will show that psychologists are lagging behind major advances that have already been made around predicting human behaviour, with some key suggestions for what they can do to lead the change rather than follow it.
