We have commenced planning for the ABP’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) which will be held on Monday 27th June at 6pm. The AGM is a great time for the Association’s members to get together with the members of the Management Board to reflect on what we’ve achieved and offer input to plans for the year/s ahead.
We can’t underestimate our individual potential to have an impact on our industry – and for all Business Psychology practitioners collectively to change the world of work for all. This is the message we want to share, to celebrate through our awards, to disseminate at our speaker events, in our publications and to promote at our conferences. This is what motivates many of our volunteers to give of their time to manage the Association and all its activities. Would you like to do more? Could you commit to volunteering with the ABP?
This year we also have a key role on the Board available, Head of Membership. We encourage you to have a look at the role and consider whether you would like to be put forward for election. If you are interested, the role description, the form can be found in the ‘Jobs Board’ volunteering section of theabp.org.uk . If you would like to register your interest, we will arrange an opportunity for you to discuss the role with a suitable member of the Board.
Please diarise the date, and register to join us for the in-person event on:
Monday 27th June at 6pm at the University of Westminster, 308 Regent Steet, London W1B 2HW
We hope to see you at the AGM and thank you for your valued commitment to the ABP.
MANAGEMENT BOARD ELECTIONS 2022
There are a maximum of 16 places on the Management Board (including its Officers: Chair, Vice-Chair, Treasurer and Secretary) and elected places are usually for a period of up to three years. Availability on the Board for election is dependent on the skills requirement and positions vacant, either as a consequence of members having reached the end of their tenure or who wish to resign.
Voting will open via the secure members area of the website on Friday 27 May 2022.
Election results will be formally announced at the AGM.
